USB (Universal Serial Bus) – It is a hardware interface widely used in today’s world to store files on. It is an opposite of the Data Cloud (iCloud), as you physically store files on the external device rather than online storage. You may store any file you want whether this is a movie file or simply a picture that you would like to transfer to or from the computer.
Hard drive (HDD) – The hard drive is what stores all your data. It houses the hard disk, where all your files and folders are physically located.
RAM (Random Access Memory) – It is a type of memory in a computer that is accessed randomly. It is measured in bytes and it is the most common type of memory found in computers. It plays an important role when using image editing software. The more RAM your computer has the faster it is going to be in terms of adding different complicated effects to your image etc.
SSD Drive (Solid State Drive) – It is a type of storage device that stores data on solid-state flash memory. This is very common storage device that is specifically designed for digital cameras. When you take a photograph with a camera then it automatically saves onto thr SSD Drive. Some computers offer the possibility of inserting the SSD Drive to your PC SSD Slot in order to transfer pictures you have taken with your camera.
CD/DVD Drives – It is an optical disc drive that reads and writes all common CD and DVD formats. This specific device can act as a "coppier". It can transfer files e.g. images from your computers hard drive to a disc / CD/DVD ROM.
