Input Devices

Drawing Tablet’s – It is a computer peripheral devices that allow "hand-drawn" tablet-to-screen input using a pen/stylus. There are multiple tablets in the market e.g. Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab etc. This device can be very useful when creating graphics in image manipulative software. You can hand draw your image with a stylus and then transfer your sketch to Photoshop, GIMP etc. which then can be manipulated with.

Mouse – Is a small device that you can roll along hard, flat surface. It controls the movement of the cursor on the screen of a monitor while you access video editing software. It is one of the essential computer peripherals if you wan't to be quick and effective while using for example Adobe Photoshop and it's multiple features.

Keyboard – It is a small board device with letters from A to Z and numbers from 0 to 9. This is a second most important PC peripheral that is mandatory for the user to posses if he want's to use the video editing softare. Keyboard lets the user to input information made up of letters and numbers to the computer.

Microphone – It is a small device that converts sound into an electrical energy.  

Joystick – A joystick is an input device commonly used to control video games. Joysticks consist of a base and a stick that can be moved in any direction. The stick can be moved slowly or quickly and in different amounts.

Scanner – A scanner is a device that captures images from photographic prints, posters, magazine pages, and similar sources for computer editing and display in image manipulating software.

Mobile Phone – It’s an electronic telecommunications device. Most mobile phones provide voice communications, Short Message Service, Multimedia Message Service, and newer phones may also provide Internet services such as Web browsing and e-mail. This specific device can act as a camera that we may take pictures with and then transfer them to our image editor.

Digital Camera – It stores images digitally rather than recording them on film. Once a picture has been taken, it can be downloaded to a computer system through a USB port which they can be edited.
